Í langan tíma hefur verið rökræður meðal keppenda um fatareglur á mótum og reglur óskýrar, við hjá ÍPS höfum verið í samskiptum við WDF stjórnina til að hafa nýjustu fatareglur til viðmiðunar.
Litakvöð á buxum er úrelt hugsun, WDF telur okkur vera íþrótt þar sem einstaklings stílar hafa sitt eigið skemmtanagildi til almennings sem þeir vilja ekki hefta. (og taka þeir sem dæmi Peter Wright)
Fatareglurnar:
Buxur- ekki er leyfilegt að spila í götóttum buxum eða joggingbuxum. Gallabuxur eru leyfðar ef þær eru dökkar/svartar og fínar. Verum í snyrtilegum klæðnaði.
Skór – þurfa að vera lokaðir, snyrtilegir skór, helst einlitir svartir eða brúnir. Hvítir skór eru ekki leyfðir. Strigaskór eru í lagi ef þeir eru snyrtilegir og ekki með áberandi lógó.
Bolur með kraga (pólóbolur).
Leyfilegt er að vera með svitaband á úlnliðum.
Ekki er leyfilegt að vera með höfuðföt nema af trúarlegum ástæðum.
Ekki er leyfilegt að vera með heyrnartól hvort sem þau fara yfir eða inn í eyru.
Heyrnartæki eru leyfð.
Brot á þessum reglum getur valdið frávísun úr móti.
Hver og einn hefur sína skoðun á hvað er flottur klæðnaður en við ættum öll að vera nokkurn veginn sammála um hvað er snyrtilegt til fara, höfum það að fyrirrúmi.
Bara vatn er leyft á keppnisstað
Brúsar eru ekki leyfðir.

Players attire in ÍPS tournaments:
For some time, there have been arguments among players how the player attire rules are in darts as the rules are vague, we at ÍPS have contacted the WDF and asked them for the current rules and details on it, and we formed our rules with their as a guideline.
A great misunderstand is that there is no rule about color on pants, they feel that kind of thinking is outdated, and they want people to be able to express them self in their clothing, we are after all, in an entertainment environment (and they reference Peter Wright).
Players’ attire:
Trousers – players cannot play in ripped trousers or jogging trousers, jeans are allowed if they are dark and nice looking, we should be in tidy attire.
No track suit.
Shoes must be closed, neat shoes, preferably solid black or brown. White shoes are not allowed. Sneakers are okay if they are neat and do not have any conspicuous logos.
Shirt with collar is required (polo).
Players are permitted to wear sweatbands on their wrists.
No headgear, or headphones other than on religious grounds, or medical grounds with written medical reasons from a qualified practitioner.
Hearing aids are allowed.
Any player refusing to meet with an Organiser’s requirements in respect of Playing Attire can be liable to forfeit that respective match.
Each individual has his own idea of what looks good, but we should most all have common understanding what is a tidy attire, let’s use that as a guideline.
Only water is allowed at the player area.
Bottles and containers are not allowed.
